Outdoor Trampolines

ANSWER

Always clean the mat and safety pads with a brush or broom, as snow shovels and other tools with sharp edges may damage the surface. First, make sure to remove any debris from the mat. Then use a garden hose and cold water to wash the mat. Remember to let the trampoline mat dry before jumping.

Two main factors: Desired use and yard size. The bigger the performance, the larger trampoline you want. For yard size, ensure there’s at least three feet of clearance from the edge of the trampoline. More advanced flippers often choose a rectangular shape and families often choose a round shape.

At Acon, our most popular selling round model is our 15ft (4.6m) round, while our 16ft rectangular (5m) is most common.

While all Acon trampolines could be used indoors, it’s a matter of size. Outdoor trampolines are best placed in a yard away from any structures and on a flat, even surface. Many people use our 6ft round trampoline or our FIT lineup of rebounders indoors.

If left outside for the winter, it is important to clear the snow from the mat and from the enclosure often, using a brush rather than a shovel. Heavy snow can also damage the enclosure if not kept clean. Disassembling the enclosure net and poles during winter months can help ensure their longevity.

Acon trampolines are engineered to exacting safety standards. They are designed for use in the outdoors on flat, even surfaces, preferably grass. Nothing should ever be placed under the jumping surface or the frame legs. However, for extra peace of mind, families can buy a safety net enclosure or add tumbling mats around the trampoline frame edge.

We believe in designing and manufacturing Acon for life, using durable materials that last. We recommend changing the safety enclosure every three years to ensure its strength. Check the mat surface and the springs often throughout the season for any wear, this is when parts need replacing.

Acon trampolines are engineered to exacting safety standards. The trampoline can be installed on lawns, asphalt, and sand. The area should be as even as possible, as there is no height adjustment on the trampoline itself. Nothing should ever be placed under the jumping surface or the frame legs.

The best socks to wear on outdoor trampolines are specially made trampoline socks. While athletic socks are totally fine on a jumping surface, trampoline socks, provide extra traction that can prevent slips and give leapers a better “feel” for their trampoline’s bounce.
